I have never had much luck with thimbles. They are often too loose or too tight on me and always feel clumsy. These adjustable ones are the best I’ve tried. You get 2 size Small and 2 size Medium, which refers to the size of the front (how much they cover). They can all be adjusted to fit by bending the back prongs open or closed tighter. The larger size is perfect for thumbs and the small ones work for my index and middle fingers. After working to get them adjusted to size they stay on fairly well. The splashy rainbow colors are a fun addition to my sewing kit, and I appreciated that they come in a little velvet drawstring pouch for storage.

I have struggled for a while to find a thimble that worked well for me because I have long nails and I find that most thimbles put an uncomfortable pressure on my nail bed, or just fall off, but these are so comfortable! I love that they are adjustable, so you can size them to fit snuggly on your finger. My only gripe, and the reason for the lost star, is that they are made out of a relatively cheap material that turns your fingers colors after a short amount of wear. But for the price, I think I can live with it. I have been cutting the finger tip off of a rubber glove to add a barrier between my finger and the thimble to keep it from turning my finger colors.

Thimble, while the right size, does not fit well on finger. Possibly because it is not perfectly round. Looked attractive in photos but is actually ugly in person. Will not be using. Would not recommend.

I love the design of these thimbles. They come in 2 different sizes and they are easily adjusted to the size of your finger. The gold finish does look a bit cheap and I am not sure if it will rub off long term. However, they are incredibly functional. It is so easy to push needles through the toughest of materials with no strain or damage to your fingers. I am going to be using these a lot.

I'm a daily embroiderer with a huge collection of thimbles. I've tried silicone (too tight or too loose, gets too hot either way), leather (eventually stretched out), and standard thimbles (not great for people with nails). I've been considering this style for a few weeks, so I was happy to see them show up on Vine. They are awesome! They're adjustable and comfortable. I adore them. I keep two on each middle finger—which I use to detect the needle on the underside and push the needle from the top—and wrap the thumb and forefinger of my right hand with self-adhesive tape, to make it easier to pull the needle through. I think I've finally found a system that works!

I’ve tried using standard thimbles, but I could never get the hang of it. The thimble kept wobbling, and I found myself concentrating more on it than on my sewing. These adjustable thimbles are perfect for my use - they fit snugly and comfortably, and I can use them without a thought. The thimbles are well made and easily push a needle while offering protection for my finger. They come in a handy little draw-string bag.

There are some sewing projects you just need a thimble for, and with my nails regularly 1/4th of an inch past my finger normal thimbles usually don't work for me. These are great because in addition to being easily adjustable, they accommodate my long nails with ease. For added comfort I sized them a bit bit and then padded the overlap of the adjustable prongs with grippy bandage tape. Since there were 2 I sized one to my pointer and one to my middle finger, since I switch between them. Just finished a project with one and it was perfect. I just took a point off since the description says 4-pack and I am 95% sure it only came with 2. That's all I needed, so I'm not upset about it.
