My husband’s build with the Fractal Design Meshify 2 XL has been nothing short of impressive. This case is a powerhouse when it comes to space and airflow, especially when paired with his 4090 GPU. The full tower design offers an insane amount of room, making cable management and future upgrades super easy. He’s already eyeing the next-gen CPU pairing with a motherboard update with DDR5, and with all the expansion space available, it’s comforting to know there’s no need to change cases when the time comes. The tempered glass side panel looks sleek without being overly flashy, giving just the right amount of visibility to showcase the internals. The airflow is also top-notch no surprise with the Meshify name. Even with the 4090 running (and limited fans), the system stays cool under heavy load, and the case design does a great job of minimizing dust buildup. For anyone building with large GPUs or planning major future upgrades, the Meshify 2 XL is a no-brainer. It’s flexible, spacious, and perfectly engineered to handle high-performance setups like this one. Highly recommend for anyone who needs room to grow without compromising on cooling or aesthetics.Warning, if you are running an older cpu and board setup, with a 4090, and limited fans... the case will amplify the noise levels. When max tracing is on in a very stress inducing game, the limited build will get loud. So put lots of fans and male sure not to bottle neck to much.

The Fractal Design Meshify 2 XL was an incredibly spacious full tower case that gives the user more than enough space to work with cable management. I would like to note the provided GP-14 are subpar in performance and are 3 pins non-PWM fans (up to 1000 RPM), so I replaced the fans with PWM fans. Make sure to note the airflow directions for your setups. I love the modularity of the case and the simple instructions provided with the manual where everything is labeled and visual for hands-on learners. Please note you will have to remove one of the drive cages to cleanly manage your PSU wires. You can mount bottom fans to the case, but it will be moot from all the metal/wire obstructions. The case is extremely sturdy, and it has a clean matte black finish. The top of the case can support up to a 480 mm radiator, the front can support up to 480 mm, and the rear of the case can support a 140mm fan (check for clearance if your top AIO is big). I appreciate how Meshify has many air filters that trap dust particles (can be removed if you want more airflow). I had also fitted an EATX motherboard and just removed the rubber grommets to the right for my wires. If you're lacking length in the case, I suggest you use a fan extension cable for a clean look. This is the case people are looking for high-end builds and mass storage configurations.

The 2 XL is the cream of the crop, the king of all ATX cases, one that leaves so much room that you won't know what to do with it until you find a nerdy comic book statue to fill the space in the void in your heart. There is plenty of room in the back for proper wire management, so you have no excuses to create a spaghetti mess.Seriously, with the 140mm fan placement in the case, you’re going to create the best possible airflow, not to mention with this amount of space, there isn’t an issue with the hot air not being displaced correctly. Way down the line, when you’re done with this case, you can repurpose it as a server or even a NAS, given how many hard drives you can install on the chassis.

This thing is huge with enough space to do what I want to do (although I'm not using an odd-shaped EE whatever it's called or an E-ATX).I wish it was a little taller so you could have a 420 radiator upfront a 140mm fan up top towards the front and dvd/cd read/write drive in the front I do agree with the door not opening enough to get the finer filter out.I don't know what people are complaining about it being flimsy but the glass does make me nervous and just like any computer, the plastic clips for the front cover are nerve racking but these are common. The only complaint I have (for me anyway) is the two trays for 2.5" drives that you can put in top of the PSU, for $50 a pair?! Really?!This case is like a Transformer, you can do all sorts of wacky things with this thing as far as relocating things but damn if it's not hurting my bank account for the layout I need out of necessity (not for fun).

It's a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures. I needed a large case, so it worked perfect for me. I installed 3 Noctua 140mm fans in the front, 2 in the bottom and one on the rear of the case. I installed a Corsair H150i on the top and it fit and works like a champ. Plenty of room for cable management. With all of my fans at idle it will keep my case at room temp. It's large enough that it makes my MSI 4090 look like a normal size GPU. I can't complain! The removeable top is pretty sweet too if you need access to the top of the motherboard around the massive radiator and fans I have up there. I would recommend the case to anyone needing this much room. Plenty of USB options on the front, no fancy RGB stuff to get in the way, just a clean and simple well built case.

I personally loved this case until I built in a dual chamber case not it’s just ruined for me build quality is acceptable it’s a fine enough case BUT I would really recommend the newer fractal cases don’t be stupid like I was when picking

This case is huge. I added a third 140 mm to the front and a 360mm rad at the top. I considered adding fans to the bottom of the case but there's not much room with all the psu wiring., It is doable but I didn't bother trying to route the cords up behind the motherboard because I have the wrx90e and with the large case the cords are a far stretch. This case wouldn't be good with two large radiators. The glass panel is pointless for me because I don't have led's. No complaints though. I just wanted a case that didn't look like it belonged to a high school kid and still could fit plenty of gpu's and pcie cards. I managed to mount one of the gpu's vertically but it's basically floating mid air in it's position. It seemed like a bit of a flaw but I guess it gives the possibility of using any riser cable.I had to remove some of the rubber coverings for the wiring ports to be able to fit such a large motherboard but that's no big deal. They pop right out and can be popped back in with a bit of finesse.

I personally purchased this case to house my home server NAS, and it has worked perfectly for that purpose over the last few months. During the build process, the case gave me no trouble, and everything went together perfectly. The only thing to keep in mind if you plan to use it for the same purpose as me, the case only comes with 6 3.5" drive trays out of the box. If you want to fill the case with more drives, you will need to purchase up to 5 of the Fractal Design HDD Tray Kit – Type-B (2 Pack). I was able to find them for $17-$30 CAD.Overall, even with the added expense of the HDD trays, I believe this is one of the best cases to use for a home NAS.

Un boitier vraiment XL! Même mon Noctua DH15 parait presque normal dedans!
