I'd rather give it 3.5, but if they just slightly upgraded the quality of the metal I'd give it 4 or 5.The problem work most crumbers is the pen clip slowly loosens over time then breaks off easily. This one has a totally different design that eliminates that and the shape of the blade is very effective and it can hold lots of big crumbs. (I'm a professional waiter) It's 2 drawbacks over the more standard 99¢ crumbers is that the plastic clip can't be gently bent to loosen it so it can be tight, and while the clip won't slowly loosen & fall out, the plastic & tightness of the clip means if you catch it wrong just once the clip will snap right off. Also, the metal of the blade is too soft. This works excellently at first, but it's soft enough that small imperfections in the edge quickly build up and begin to noticeably reduce the tool's effectiveness.This is an ideal design for a crumbers in my professional experience, if only the metal blade was slightly harder and the clip perhaps also made of metal or a different type of less brittle plastic it would be perfect and 5 stars. Unfortunately at this price, I'll go to my local restaurant supply store and buy several of the 99¢ ones, even tho they break every 4-8 weeks on average for me they're super cheap.

This device is cheaply made and doesn’t work too well. It’s hard to get the blade under fine crumbs
