My go to for any aging for a fine whiskey taste. Perfect color and great rapid age for a great price. Very easy to use just size it up and drop it in. Perfect fit for most any use. Functions just how you'd need.

I used these to add some oak flavor to the cabernet wine I make every year. It adds just the right amount of oakiness. I add 2 oak spirals to each 5 gallon carboy and leave them in for about 2 months. I like them so much I buy them every year.

These spirals fit through the opening of almost any barrel, carboy, or other tank. Given their large surface-to-volume ration they act faster than straight sticks to add tannin to red wine.

My first efforts with Bulleit Burbon and a little vermouth turned out quite well. I had a friend try the mix before and after, each in a small shot glass. He was stunned when I told him they were the same except one had been aged. I'm confident he is going to be purchasing some of these soon.

I am a bit disappointed with these. I only aged the whiskey for about 4 weeks. There is an oily aftertaste. It's not great. Not sure i would buy these again.

These are too big to fit in a standard wine bottle. These are actually bigger than I thought they would be, they just fit into a 1 gallon glass jug neck. I only planned to oak a few standard wine bottles worth of home made wine. I probably didn't read the description well enough. I wanted english oak. I'll have to brew and bottle a whole gallon jug maybe in secondary fermentation with these. The break easily in length so that's a bonus since they are so big, these will last me a long time.

Adds marvelous aroma and taste to whiskey or rum. I snap off a 3 inch piece and then place it inside a broad mouth glass cider or fruit juice bottle 48 oz or so. After the desired infusion time I use a coffee filter and plastic drip cone to filter back into the liquor bottle.
