I snagged my first pair of these for my son for Kindergarten, after a full school year, he wore them again for 1st grade. Because he likes the fit, adjustable band, and the "false" button look (making them easy to get on and off) I had to buy some for this school year. My 7YO is tall and skinny for his age. I bought both a 7 and 8, the 7's fit better but will keep the 8's for years to come. Great quality and worth it.

Great product! Soft for kids who picky about texture and very durable for boys that play hard and then need lots of washes. The color holds up well for more than a year!

My son likes the sporty material of these for his uniform shorts. I’d say they run at least one size small, maybe two. My son wears a 10/12 husky normally. I bought the 16 and had to return they were too tight in the waist. So then I ordered the size 18 and they were too big in the waist and length but we kept them because it has an adjustable waist. The sizing was drastic between these two sizes. Decided that longer length was ok and my son didn’t seem to mind. He’ll grow into them. On a side note, Costco sells these for much less.

My 10 year old is tall and skinny. I only wish it went below his knees. The material is nice light breezy and cool. He doesn’t like pants, he wears uniforms to school and we live in the tropics so these fix the sweating problem.
