3/4" (Dia.) Double Flute Straight Bit with 1/4" Shank.
From the Manufacturer
These bits cut smoother than other straight bits because of the precise shear and hook angles. End of bit relief allows for fast plunging. Covered by Freud's limited lifetime warranty.

Freud 3/4†Double Fluted 1/2†shaft router bit...... Excellent router bit. It’s cut is accurate in many materials, has no vibration, and lasts a good long time.I dropped a spinning router on concrete with this bit in place. It gouged out a nice hole in the concrete. Next I cut a 3/4†piece of melamine particle board with the same bit. It cut perfectly leaving no rough edges or gauging anywhere. It did produce a bit of smoke while cutting but considering the cutting blades hit the concrete at 16,000 rpm’s, I’d say that is one tough router bit. No vibrations, no chatter after it hit the concrete.I highly recommend you purchase Freud router bits

I purchased this to make several cuts on a whole rebottle project. It did well the entire project.

This is my first Freud router bit and review. It just arrived this evening. You can see the guage on top cutting blade. The other side seems to have a small pit. Not sure if this will affect the functionality. Only time will tell. I was kind of expecting better quality given the name brand seems to be well established. I'll update this review as time goes on. Take care.

When buying router bits, don't skimp, spend the extra and get a quality bit, such as Freud. If you've ever had a project spoiled or delayed because of a crummy router bit, you know what I mean.

First off Freud Blades and Bits are on the pricey side. But as it’s been said “You get what you pay forâ€. In this case it’s accurate. The routed profile is crisp and precise. Cheaper bits don’t cut as clean. Now I can’t speak to the longevity of it but if it’s like the saw blades that I have, I’m sure it will last a long time.

you ALWAYS get what you pay for. I use this particular bit for making inlays for picture frames.

Hey Its a Freud, not much more needs to be said. Excellent bit. Bought it to install t-tracks and it works perfect. I am sick of buying cheap router bits and having them only last a few passes. THis one, like all Freud products will last a very long time if it is used correctly

I purchased this bit to cut some 3/4" slots for some aluminum T track I installed in my router base and it worked perfect. The bit is super sharp and bang on accurate. I also noticed my router runs a lot smoother and is quieter when using the Freud bits. I would recommend this product.

The groove made by the Freud 04-140 router bit have exactly 3/4'', standard T-track fit perfectly in it. Freud router bit's are costly, but last way longer than each other cheap router bits purchased on amazon.
