I've had these for a couple of years and never wrote a review. So they've actually held up. That is a plus in and of itself given the shelf life of many tech gadgets these days. I don't remember how much I paid, but I saw some cheaper variants after I made this purchase. I don't regret this purchase given that they are still working after about 2 years.They are very stealth, so they blend in pretty well. I feel they are decent quality and are very colorful. You have the option to cycle through several colors (I believe there are 7) to match your mood or the interior of your car. You can choose a single color and adjust the brightness or just have it cycle through colors along with adjusting the brightness for the cycling.The device stores the setting, so when you turn your car off (or the power source) and turn it back on, the previous setting is stored. There's no need to setup your color scheme again.Unfortunately, I can't provide feedback on the daylight sensor (they aren't supposed to light up when they sense external light). Mine are located in a cubby which doesn't see external light, so they stay lit all the time.

Works efficiently and easy to select color using a short press of control button. Importantly, the small circular opening a few millimeters under the control button exposes the photo sensor. When environment is light, the LED shuts off. If you want to keep light in in daylight or bright environment, place a small piece of black electrical tape over the sensor. I use mine to illuminate a setting circle on a Dobsonian telescope base. The red light setting prevents loss of dark accommodation!

I put these in my dual USB outlets in the center bottom of my dash. They shine straight down onto the console to provide a little illumination. Just what I was wanting. Beware of others that shine straight out which also becomes irritating to the eyes. Seem to be of good quality and the fact that you can select the color you want. Very pleased with this item!

The instructions are sort of obtuse, so here's my take:Quickly press and release the button to change colors. Colors include Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue, Purple, White, and an automatic color change/rainbow setting.Hold the button down to change the brightness. Release the button when the brightness is satisfactory.Double click the button to have the brightness continuously ramp/pulse on a single color.Leaving the unit powered on with no further button presses for more than 10 seconds will cause that setting to be saved for the next power cycle.

I absolutely appreciate everything about the light and it's built quality and design except for the programming. I planned on using in dark areas in my truck, storage, back seat and so on. So I put one in and adjusted the color and brightness then went inside to check it out when it got dark out. Turn the truck on and it's back to orange full brightness! Tried again reprogram to my liking, turned off the truck, restarted it and again reset to base full brightness in orange. Sadly that means it's useless for my application and needs.

These LEDs are excellent. I like that the diodes are facing down, so it lights up my center console. A different set of LEDs I bought were not as good as these ones, plus the ability to change the color is awesome.

It was a little difficult to configure using the instructions that came with package. But went back and look at description, it does contain better instructions. Thought it is only set as continuous pulsing. But managed to get it figured out

Bought a 2 Pack, used to light up the center console of our car. (2 USB sockets).The issue is they're not consistent. The Colors do not match and randomly changes color at times.
