These are great lightweight hip waders and good value for the money. I'm 5' 7" and 250 pounds, so getting waders that fit are a real problem. The Large size fit me perfectly and easy to get on and off. I have size 10 feet and the booties are just slightly larger, which works fine with my wading boots. Only complaints might be the side straps which are made of a stretchy material which may not hold up well over time. The material for the leg portions tend to stain easily, but are light enough to wear in warmer weather and can easily be rolled down to help air out the legs. After six outings they seem to hold up well to thistle, thorn brush and nettles. But I would be extra careful around barb wire fences or other places that might puncture or tear the fabric. I bought a second pair and am very pleased with their performance.

I work in a wetlands bashing trails through thick bulrush crossing beaver trenches with a 45 lb pack. I've used Lacross Big Chiefs for 15 years. I tried Frogg Toggs for the first time and it's a game changer. No cockleburs got in, stayed dry, plus they are so light and breathable. The effort in high-stepping was greatly reduced and they seem fairly durable. Time will tell. I'll review them again later in the summer.Update at end of summer: They survived just fine with two small holes that are easily patchable. One is on the gravel cuff so doesn't matter, the other is above my right knee and only leaked enough to give me extra comfort from the summer heat. Some of the stiching is beginning to fray and they are permanently stained from the organic mud. I put these through a serious torture test 5 days a week from the end of winter to the beginning of fall. The neoprene booty is as good as new and doesn't even stink. I'm very impressed. I will buy another pair.

I have been fishing along the banks of brooks and streams and decided to try Tenkara fishing which involves using rods of 12ft in length. With this style of fishing one needs a lot of clearance. One way of solving this dilemma is to venture into the water. These hip waders along with a good pair of wading boots are a game changer. I remained dry and comfortable during my two hours in the water. I have a feeling these will last me a long time.

I am a fan of Frogg Toggs. Use their rain jackets. The fit of the waders were perfect. Inseam is a little long, but not to the point of being unusable. The only think I do not like is that they do not breathe well. When I used them, it was in the mid 60s, and when I took them off, my pant legs were damp from sweat. This was after fishing for 3 hours or so. So far they are lightweight and very functional. If I am in the market for waders, I might consider some Frogg Toggs. Easy to put on and take off after a day of fishing. Next test will be their longevity.

These are so lightweight you can hardly tell you are even wearing waders . I've been trout fishing twice about 6 hrs each time. No leaks and no complaints. They did run a little large I normally wear a size 15 to 16 shoe so I ordered a XXL I had to exchange for a xl .

Just back from a fishing trip to Colorado and used these waders in several different streams and rivers. Overall, I’m super happy with the waders, they performed perfectly. Even on some of the coldest rivers with the fast current, these waders did their job. I won’t say I was toasty warm, but I can’t imagine not having waders on. And I paired these with the frog tog wading boots and together the combination was killer. Highly recommend.

I use these while kayaking early spring when the water's still too cold to wet my feet. Advantage over full size waders is that I can relieve myself quickly. Correct size is important.

Nice and light hardly know you had them on. I got the large because of my shoe size but the neoprene bootie provided was really big and was bunched up in my boot.

I’m 5’11”. Very muscular legs. Size large fits me perfectly (not too loose, not too tight over jeans)
