I bought this tool set to set the front and rear covers on my 5.3 LS build. It was easy to use and centered the covers for proper installation. The pieces of this set are solidly made and should provide years of service.

Works great lining up oil pump so you don’t have leaks it’s a must. Keeps oil pan square to trans and front cover. Made well would recommend

Can’t believe they can sell this for the price. Well built from billet aluminum. Easy to use.

The tools are nice. I have been build ls engines for years and wanted to try a metal set like these. I have the plastic ones and they are starting to show the use. These are a lot nicer when driving the seals in. I love the metal, very firm. But the oil pan jig works on the front of the engine only, need one that works on rear.

Used this while doing a cam on my 2012 sierra. I've driven it over 25k miles since and no leaks so far. Highly recommend

I was unsure if this was really something that I needed until I used. This tool made installing my rear main seal a breeze. I used it to line up the rear cover first. Then I used it as a seal driver for the rear seal. I put a 2x2 on the seal installer and with one smack of the dead blow hammer, the seal was done.

Used it to install the rear seal and worked very well. Don't pop out the plastic insert. It's used to align the seal. Put it (the seal) over the end of the crank and put your fingers at 10, 2, 4 and 8 o'clock and push the seal in. Use the tool to tap the seal in until it bottoms out. (service manual indicates the seal should be tapped in until it bottoms out).
