Everything is just as they said, the installation is straightforward, it is easy to use and slick, and it is beautifully designed. Everything was great except taking out the knob head. If you see their video (very easy to install, right? Yep, the video is not wrong, in the installation steps anyway), one little poke in the small hole on the knob and head will come off easily. I poked it, and I pulled it, and it slid off for a little (may be a few millimeter), and then it sudden stopped.I thought I did not poke enough, but there was nothing more to hit with the metal pen; it turned out that I poked all I could, and it started to slid off, but it just got a little stuck in the middle of sliding free.I used all my strength, and nothing happened. In the end, it seemed that with ENOUGH STRENGTH, you could still just pull it off like that. One way is you could get two muscly guys, and each use one large pair of pliers, and just pull with all their might in the opposite direction, but I found a better way:Spray a little WD40 in there, and then poke the hole and pull (and it will slide off a little), and push it back in place again (you will hear the click and see the blocking metal part popping up again), and then poke down the metal and pull it off again, and do this over and over several times and it will loosen up the part that's just a bit stuck, and trying pulling it after doing this a few times, eventually, you will be able to pull the knob head off with just a bit strength. I can attest to it as this in fact worked for me.As soon as I could not pull off the knob head first time, I was ready to return it, as it was shown in their video: the head should come off very easily (as shown that, once poked with their tool, almost one hand with just a few fingers you can push to separate two parts); so immediately I thought it was a product defect, and without being able to get the head off, there was no way I could put the screws in (see the video you'll see what I mean). I am glad I tried some more and got it off in the end.But despite this, it is a VERY BEAUTIFUL AND ELEGANT looking door handle set, giving the great price, to not give it a 5 star rating. The slick, almost chrome like (it is Satin Nickel) finish was just very beautiful to look at. My old door handle was much more expensive but it did not look nearly as nice or elegant. After installing it, I could not help but going out and looking at it several times; I just could not get enough how great it looked for its price. I am glad I bought this front door handle-set, it was worth the money.

Our old set would no longer close tight, would give my automatic lock a difficult time sometimes to close and the knob wouldnt always open the door because the latch would get stuck. I took it off to clean it and grease it up like I did 2 years ago and realized it was time for a new set. So far this inexpensive set has met our expectations for half the price of anything at the big stores. The bottom piece is adjustable so I was able to fit the screw it into the pre-drilled hole from the previous set. It closes tight and opens as should. Very happy with the purchase.

For the price of this item I found it to be just what I needed. For some reason my front door handle always needs to be replaced. I’ve lived in other homes and never needed to replace this item. Since living in my current home for over 10 years I’ve had to replace this twice. The first one I went to the local big box hardware store. Had sticker shock when I saw the prices of these things! Purchased one and after about five years of use it broke. I’m not spending that much money anymore in anything g so I thought I’d give this a try. It works great, was easy to install and looks nice.

This is a low-quality product. I received it on December 23, 2024 and installed it on the front door of my vacation home. However, today, March 4th, 2025, Guest cannot open it no matter what. I had to seek help from the community staff to forcibly open this door. In addition to spending extra money on this lock, I also have to pay a service fee to the person who opens the door. My other vacation home has also installed this handle, it seems that I have to dismantle it and throw it away.

This lock arrived within the stipulated one day. It looks elegant, and was easy to install. Less than 10 mins provided of course you are replacing an existing similar door handle which mine was. It is sturdy and appears solid. Keep in mind I only just installed in 20 mins ago. If things change for the worse within the year or before, I will update this review, but for now its definitely a 5 star on all counts.

After less than a year of use, the mechanism is starting to fall apart.I do not recommend. It will be better to pay for the real brand like Schlage than getting this and replacing it the next year.

I typically don’t leave reviews but felt like I needed to for this. I purchased this set and within 6 weeks, the mechanism broke and I had to buy a whole new set. Because I needed a new knob right away, I bought from Canadian Tire. I’m 2 weeks late for the return window, so I can’t even get a refund for this one that broke.. very cheaply made 👎ðŸ»
