Easy to configure and fits a wide range of wide flange beams. It is very important to not use this piece of equipment to chip off fire proofing on I beams as I’ve seen other people doing and also properly remove all fire roofing from the beam before attempting to attach this device.

This is a good solid beam clamp for industrial applications. My only complaint is that I ordered two, and received one. Which is a problem since I am a small business working on a fixed budget.

I purchased the Frontline ST18AH Aluminum I-Beam Slider Anchor expecting the lanyard attachment point to move smoothly along the beam, as advertised. However, I was disappointed to find that the attachment point is actually glued into the center position and doesn’t move at all.This design flaw makes the anchor unusable on beams that are near walls or other obstacles, completely defeating the purpose of having a “slider” anchor. It’s misleading to market it as adjustable when the lanyard point is fixed in place.We’re returning this product and will be looking for a more functional alternative. I wouldn’t recommend this anchor if you need mobility or flexibility in tight spaces.
