It's definitely thin plastic but it seems fairly durable for it's thickness. I've not yet ripped it and I've brushed up against multiple times. Because of it's thickness, it's pretty susceptible to static charge - dust and small particles will stick to it very easily.Be aware that it's folded up on itself a number of times due to the size of the roll. It unfolded easily enough, but if you're working with longer sections (it is 400' long after all) it may become inconvenient.I probably won't ever use all of it, but if I did I'd have no hesitations about buying this again.

I used this to block off all of my kitchen cabinets and the rest of my house while we removed an old slate floor and repainted and refloored the kitchen (don't ever agree to do that job, by the way!). This sheeting is very thin, but that was to be expected. It served its purpose perfectly and for the money, I'd definitely buy it again.

Expected this to be very thin, maybe flimsy, but stronger, and yet easy to use for covering important materials during renovation. You’ll be glad you got this!

Used this to cover furniture during a wood floor install. Easy to unroll and spread out. Very lightweight so I wouldn’t try walking on it. But to protect furniture it’s perfect.

Definitely not meant for carpeted floors. You put it on and walk on it, it can easy break.

Was worried after reading some of the reviews, but the plastic was perfect and good value for money. You do have to be a bit careful not to tear it.....but overall it is easy to use and does what it is supposed to. Great value for the money
