Switch action requires far to much force to be actuated by air on the slender actuator arm. Twice as hard to depress as the original. Also the actuator arm is very loose and dragged on the fan casing so I had to shim the switch mount out. Still non functional. Went to trash.

I have purchased these and other aftermarket Sail switches and they do NOT work. The switch is to stiff to activate. Only buy Manufacture brand Sail switches.

This worked AFTER I cut and hot glued on a bigger blade (cut from the broken one) to make a bigger 'sail'

Does not close connection in Atwood 8531-IV DCLP. Now, one year later - after having went on to pull the whole furnace out so I could replace the High Limit Switch (did not help), and then the Control Board (did not help), then much troubleshooting (since you can't get to the sail switch when the blower is on), I have now come to the conclusion that the problem was the Sail Switch all along and that this piece of junk did not fix the problem because it will NOT close with the amount of air pushed in this furnace. There is nothing wrong with the air volume; the problem is this junk Sail Switch that requires too much air to close. It seems to work fine when you are manually closing and checking continuity. Beware! Things like this can really send you on a wild goose chase!

Sail switch has too strong of a spring. A simple 12vdc fan will not move it. Original had a much lighter fan so even though it stated to be a replacement, it wasn't. Switch quality was good just not for my furnace fan air switch.

This sailswitch didn’t even work it was sent in a plastic bag and was broke when it arrived ! The packaging is very important for the product being sent out !!

This switch does not work on my furnace. It requires more force than the original. Does not meet the required spec.
