This is a good replacement part. However, please be aware that the barb fitting of the part is a bit smaller in diameter than the vstar oem part. I had to make up a new fuel line from the part to the fuel filter in order for it to work.

In description says that it will work for 2006 Yamaha v-star 1100, the body is taller and the output requires a a quite smaller fuel line.

Definitely wasn't for a 98 vstar 650. The bolt holes didn't line up right so the gasket was leaking after i had installed it. Had to reuse my old one and just apply gasket maker.
