Bought this for our boat....1988 Alumacraft Competitor CS with 24gal plastic fuel tank. This was a drop-in fit with no issues, though I preferred to reuse the existing Allen head stainless steel screws. The gauge hookup was super easy (includes wiring diagram) and the gauge light is nice & bright when on. I am pleased with the overall function/read out of this assembly and I know that when the gauge reads 'E', that I still have 2+ gallons of reserve fuel left in the tank.Some folks take issue with the gauge/float not reading in finer increments, but this appears to be the design of most of these style sending unit floats on the market today...I have no problem with the way it reads. Back in the day, we used to have to take the fuel tank cap off and look inside the tank to see how much fuel we had....so, having a gauge to look at is luxury in my opinion. Let's go fishing!

Installed this in my dune buggy so I could keep track of how much fuel I have. Installation was easy and worked flawlessly. Great product for the price. This matched my other white faced gauges and looks great. The back light helps when driving at night.

Instructions were a little tough for me, actually had to go to u tube to get it done, it was actually not that hard to do the instructions were mor technical than necessary

The backlight and low fuel lamps work great but it only moves in 1/4 tank increments.I wish it would show 1/8 increments at least.

After buying 2 different gas gauges thatdidn't work, this one was wasy to install and works great!

Professional motorcycle mechanic of a decade, and as soon as I wired this sending unit and gauge up it reads full and does not change. Resistance in the sending unit is normal, the gauge is faulty.
