Just purchased an old International backhoe that needs a ton of work. The diesel shutoff cable was broken which creates issues. This was a great option and I just made a bracket to hold this on the ROPS until I get further in the project.Smooth action.Only down side to this is how tightly coiled it was packaged. it took me about 20 minutes to get it straight with no sticking spots.

Yes its meant for the application mentioned, for diesel fuel shutoff on particular New Holland tractors. But in fact its pretty generic control cable. Could be used for a choke cable or heater control cable, etc. I will be using it as a choke cable. It higher quality than lot of aftermarket universal choke cables.My only criticism, it came tightly coiled for shipping purposes. Took a bit to unkink it. It has a solid stiff wire inside a plastic sheath. Its the inside wire that gets kinked. If you arent in hurry to use it, might suggest you unkink it in stages over time, before installing it. The wire does move smoothly inside the sheath, well once unkinked. If you are in a great hurry, you might have to pull the wire out of the sheath to fully unkink it, then reinsert it.
