I really like the wider tape, it cleans a much larger area on the face of the connector. However, you have to be gentle with it because the tip can be bent or broken easily. Usually I have to pull the thread back up on to the tip several times during its 500+ cleaning cycles. Make sure to use the included 'red' adapter when cleaning SC because without it you will damage the tip within a few clicks.
