Used to make quilting pattern. Would be okay if you only have solid color fabrics.

Not sure why people think this is a great idea. I purchased the white and now light blue and I cannot see either on my fabric. I will try the darker blue. If the dark blue doesn't show up on the fabric I don't know how this product can be worth it. It is a bit messy, powder fluffing around. Just disappointing that I only see 3 color options white, light blue, and blue. So far two out of 3 do not work for my project.

Even after following all the instructions, I couldn’t get the chalk lines dark enough to see on white or beige fabric. It works great on darker colors though. It stayed on my heavily starched dark fabric long enough for me to sew the entire section before rubbing off.I ordered the pounce pad in the regular blue color because a reviewer mentioned it worked on white fabric. If it’s too dark, I might try mixing the barely blue and regular blue together.

Chalk package had a hole so there was chalk everywhere but inside the applicator. Hard to get the sponge loaded--very messy. Should do it outside or you risk getting it stuck to things you don't want it on. Rubs off fabric very easily so it needs to be hairsprayed on to stay long enough to sew. Has to be used on hard surface, so you can't get good results after loading your quilt on your frame for hand or longarm stitching. Wish that had been in the info before I bought it!
