Im 6 foot with a 40 inch chest and the medium fit well. Slightly big but thats good because I plan on wearing a long sleeve shirt with this during early fall and spring.I definitely like the reflectibiliy of this vest. I seems to glow when light hits it. Car drivers using their headlights will definitely see my when wearing this. Even in the daytime it will glow (reflect light) when viewed inline with the light source. Like if ur riding when the sun is at the horizon it will appear to glow when drivers are approaching my. I like it but! The 1st order I received the vest had large two defects on the reflecting surface. It appears to me to have been very close to if not touching a object when the reflective surface was applied to the vest. The marks showed a definite pattern of an object with a squiggly line pattern that was transferred onto the vest at two places. The reflective coating was also noticable less reflective at those areas too. I sent the vest back for a replacement. I will update when I get the other one.Update one: 2nd vest came today and it also had the marks almost at the same location. The spots actually have a different texture too. My fingers seem to stick to those spots when I run my hand down the outside. It's wierd, like the finish wasn't applied at those spots. The spots do reflect just like the rest of the vest but it looks like you got it dirty with food or something. I mean for over $50 those spots shouldn't be there.Update two: I received the 3rd vest and guess what it also had those same spots @ the same location. The top mark by the right shoulder was very small and the mark on the vest by the right abdomen was smaller byt still there. To me, very noticable. They want me to pay $50 for a defective item. It's just ridiculous that these even got out of the inspection area of the manufacturer.What 2 do, what 2 do.

Size is accurate.Vest is thicker/more robust than anticipated.This is not a lightweight vest to shed and discreetly stuff in a back pocket. If that’s what you are looking for go elsewhere. But if you are looking for a vest that lets you be seen on the commute to work or for a late evening ride this does the job.Fit is solid. The reflective material also effective.My only complaint is I wish it packed a little smaller. It will fit in a back pocket, just not nearly as small as a more compact vest.

The vest was just what I wanted BUT the XL-tagged vest was smaller than a standard L.Disappointing that an otherwise excellent product can’t get sizing right.

People stop and comment that they really appreciate being able to see us while we are walking after sunset. TY for providing a vest option! However, the bottom of the vests is very tight. I usually wear a small/medium men's size and it is very tight at the hips.

Alright, so I needed a safety vest for some early morning walks, and I landed on this one because, well, safety first, right? The biggest thing I noticed right away is how reflective it is. great reflective vest except zipper doesn't work! Had to return and not taking a chance that a replacement will be any better

I like the product such a nice vest for fall, winter, spring with less daylight to run....Amazon did send me a large when I ordered a medium, but it was a good "error". The medium would not have fit me if this is how the sizes run.

This reflective cycling vest is a great safety item for night riding. It is super visible when illuminated by a car's headlights or even a flashlight. The fit is good and sizing seems to be pretty standard (large fits as expected). The fit is comfortable but not baggy. The only issue is the collar which bunches up in front by the zipper and hangs forward. Pics provided for reference. There's a flap that I think was meant to cover the top of the zipper but it just adds unnecessary bulk. I don't know if there was some defect or if this is just how the collar was designed. Aside from that collar issue this is a very good night visibility vest.
