I bought this mop handle because I am 6ft 5 and most domestic models are too short for me to use comfortably. This handle is made of two poles bound by a screw joint. The upper pole is hollow and it slides down on the lower thinner pole to allow the adjustment of height. The idea is good, but the joint is weak, which caused several problems:- the grip of the joint is not strong enough so the height of the handle shortens while you are mopping because the upper part of the handle gradually slides down the lower one.- what is even worse is that sometimes, the joint falls totally out of place and you are left with a handle that is not rigid, but has some sort of "elbow" between the two poles, which make it really uncomfortable to continue mopping. You can try to slide the joint up in its place, but it is hard and it keeps falling down. That is why I finally decided to throw this handle away and buy a taller commercial one that is more expensive but much more comfortable for me.
