I wear this while welding instead of a welding cap and while moving around the shop and its great. Wicks up sweat quite nice while blocking sunlight. Its way thicker than some of the other FR balaclavas that I have gotten it was worth the price especially while doing anything overhead related.

so this hood is kinda small on the face opening making mask wear hard. I wear a half respirator and have prescription glasses which makes its a little hard to wear this mask. I stretched it a little to tear it and my head is small compared to most. I was expecting more of a firefighter balaclava but it is thick seems it will last a few months of wear and washings.

This thing is warm in winter time, keeps sparks off my face and neck. This thing is a game changer!! I love this!!! I would definitely recommend this thing for all welders if its not too hot outside, but for winter time this thing ROCKS!!!
