The charger works great! I work in LEO in a specialty unit, where we use multiple radios for hours on end.Being able to have an extra battery to charge OR leave a Motorola radio plugged in to charge while on a detail helps tremendously! I never have to worry about the battery on my radio(s) dying. It's nice to have a spare fully charged battery and the option to charge one radio while working.

I bought this charger to put in my patrol vehicle so that I could always have a secondary battery charged. However this charger does not have the slots to hold a single battery without it being attached to the radio so the only way it will charge is with the radio in the charger meaning I have to remove it from my vest unhook my speaker mic not exactly what I was expecting.

This charger works like you'd expect it to....but wait, there's more. This listing includes a metal mounting bracket that the charger fits into that you can attach inside your vehicle somewhere, and also includes an elastic strap that you can use to keep the radio in the charger so it won't rattle out while the vehicle is in motion. I chose to utilize a very strong rare earth magnet to mount the holder to my center console, and that also works very well. If you need to charge your Motorola while on the go, this is a solid option.

Our new "upgraded" radios suck their batteries down annoying fast. They won't even last half a shift now. I bought this to be able to charge my handheld while out and about. It is not built to be rugged, but it does the job intended. The included mounting bracket is pretty ingenious too. I have no regrets.

Be VERY careful with this charger. As soon as I plugged this thing in and put in a battery to charge it messed up my battery first then now my alternator no longer works. VERY expensive mistake.
