Purchased this product for a multitude of water activities in my subtropical Florida area that include kayaking, jet skiing, snorkeling, waterboarding and beach walking. So far I am extremely pleased with the purchase and how well they perform in these activities. Especially good item to protect your feet when walking on hot sandy, and or shell beaches! Also great non slip sock when walking on a wet pool deck.I wear a Men's size 10.5 in most shoes and purchased size L (Men's 9.5-10.5/Women's 10.5-12) and they fit snug but not too tight which is what you want to have when you are using them as a water sock and not have them slip off. Also works well as a foot liner for your snorkel fins to prevent blistering and chaffing. They air dry fairly quickly. I turn them inside out to speed up the drying process.The neoprene material is stretchy and the soles of the sock have a non slip, grippy surface that gives you traction on slippery surfaces. Probably offer some sun protection on tops of your feet due to the material it is made of but they do not advertise any SPF for the product.As other reviewers have stated, this is a water sock and not a water shoe so if you are looking for the latter this might not work for you as they are much thinner and may not be as durable. Only thing I wished they had was a pull tab on the back to make them easier to put on and take off. I did not deduct for this in this review as the other great features of this product made up for the lack of this item.

We go to a hot spring resort that has 23 pools all at different temperatures. The fun of going there is to change pools often. In November when we go, it is a hassle to put your shoes on to walk to a different pool. However, if you don’t your feet get super cold and the concrete can be abrasive on your soles after a while. I could leave my shoes on in the pools, but I wouldn’t enjoy it. Fun Toes solves all my problems on this last trip we took. I wore them from my room and my feet never got cold. I still felt barefoot in the pool, and I didn’t have the issues others had in the slick spots. It was fantastic.In general I am a fan of barefoot shoes, so I didn’t need anything else in the tame area I was walking. I can see that maybe using these inside of normal watersocks might be useful at times. I tried it that way at first for the walk across the parking lot to the pools. It worked fine, but I ended up carrying the watersocks back to the room and leaving them there after that.Also, I did order a size larger because I had read reviews about these running small and I have wide feet. I was happy with the larger size.

I used these on my trip amd they were great. However i had to return them cause when they came the green pair, one sock the stitching was stuck to the other sides stitching. When pulling apart which i did gently still caused a rip inbthe seem. I still wore them cause they arrived the day i left for my trip which was a 10 day cruise. Theu worked great keeping the fins from running my toes amd the grip was great for stand up paddle boarding and getting in and out of boats on my snorkling excursions. Of the green pair hadn't ripped I'd definitely wouldbhave kept and given a 5 star

It comes with 2 pair, but one has held up to about 20 snorkeling times so far. One seam is starting to split but I keep wearing it. If you fin is not too tight before using the footie, it will slip right in and even provide a cushion for your foot against the fin. A must for walking on rocks and lava while entering the ocean. I put them on while on the beach and even walk a block or two and it wears well. I wear size L, I wear shoe size 11W. I bought some (med) for my wife too. They are snug but perfect when wet, she wears shoe size W9.

Worked well for 1 week scuba diving trip at Florida Sea Base with boy scouts this summer. Ordered XL for my son and myself. Wear size 11 and 13 shoes, Mens US. They fit fine for both of us. Late May to early June dives with water temp around 82 deg and foot temperature was comfortable the whole time.

I wore these neoprene water socks with my travel size snorkel fins. They ensured the fins fit snugly and therefore prevented foot or leg cramps. Highly recommend.

The toe area comes to a point. I'm not sure who has toes shaped like that, unless you've been wearing "cockroach killers" for decades. But they squeeze the toes together. And, no, they were not too small. Should have returned them upon trying them on.After the second wear (about an hour and a half total), holes formed on the top. I wasn't walking upside down on them or scraping them against the sides of the pool. Very odd. So, they were trashed.I would keep looking as these are not worth any money.
