I don't know why others had problems with the fit. I made sure that the "equivalent" was exactly the item for my humidifier, which is an Equate. The filters look almost identical--I can't tell them apart. It fits perfectly, like the original, and may actually work better. I don't run mine continually (it's in my bedroom and it would keep me awake), but I use about the same amount of water every day in the reservoir, and it seems to be dispersing more water than before. The price is great, delivery was very fast, order was correct. What's not to love?

Slightly smaller than the equate filters. But they get the job done, so I can't complain!!!
