More Tips to use with Epoxy Resin:
1) Poured in silicone molds in layers, allowing air bubbles completely escape;
2) To expedite the process of escaping of bubbles and time of solidification of resin, the mold can be a bit warmed up, for example, heat the oven to 80°C, turn off, ventilate it a little and put mold, filled with resin in the oven.
3) Follow resin instruction for the time need to cure, measure and mix resin properly. It does not mean it has been cured if it is hard.
4) Do not use water-base ink for resin casting.
5) After baking clay / resin in complex or deep molds release the finished product under running water with soap.
6) Put in refrigerator a while/ soak in hot water a while/ release with baby oil if it is hard to release.

I love this dragon mold! It has a lot of detail to it and is really cute. I make them to sell in my resin crafts business and they are usually my only item that sells out at almost every vendor event I bring them too. I just posted them on Etsy before Christmas and they started selling really great there too because It’s a pretty cool and unique gift to get someone. Kids love them!! I use deep pour resin for these so they do take 24 hrs before you can remold, but they really are worth the wait.The only thing I wish was different about this mild is I wish they lasted longer before needing to replace them. I can make about 10-12 dragons before I have to replace the mold. The mold will change from shiny to matte and then eventually little pieces of the mold will adhere to the resin and tear off the mold when you take your project out. All store bought molds go this way, just some last longer than others. Other than that this mold is fantastic.

Easy to use and if done correctly it easy to get the colors where you want them. Just have to layer your pours.Easy removal. Durable.

My first time really using resin- my daughter used it for a polymer clay project and it turned out cute, but WOW with the resin! I should have added a little mica to it, but we will paint it. Did use a black pigment dye that made it so shiny. We love it! So easy to remove- the size is perfect- and it turned out really cool.

So easy to demold and very thick and sturdy. Made beautiful pieces. It’s hard to put color on the mold but other than that it’s an excellent mold!

I tried this mold with polymer clay and it was just too difficult to put it in in one piece as it is so deep, so I used paper clay which came out great but as it dried it cracked a little. I am going to use Perfect Cast in it tomorrow but I really like how the detail came out on the paper clay and how easy this mold is to work with. The dragons come out looking so cute. I love this mold!! Update: I used casting material in this mold and it came out perfect! Really love this mold and have ordered 2 more at a time.

Ich habe jetzt in Vorbereitung eines Kindergeburtstags einige Silikonformen probiert...mit unterschiedlichen Ergebnissen. Der Drache ist aber wirklich sehr gelungen, eine tolles Ergebnis (natürlich je nach Gießmaterial), aber die Details sind gut ausgearbeitet und es lässt sich ausgtrocknet gut und ohne Bruchgefahr aus der Form lösen.
