What can I say? For a $40.00 pair of boots they did what I intended them to do, complete my costume. They totally fit the bill to make my Jedi costume so much more authentic. Due to many other reviews I saw, I used a pair of memory foam inserts out of one of my pairs of high end tennis shoes. Had I not done this my feet would have been killing me. I wear a size 13 and these were right at 13 no more, no less. These boots fit my calves perfectly and around my ankles as well. If you have small calves or larger calves you may have fit issues. Apparently if I had to walk say 2 miles straight in these I would be in distress. Also I think that based on older reviews, the manufacturer has made necessary steps to make the boot more durable. They did not come apart and thanks to my inserts I was pretty comfortable for the 5 hours I had the boots on. I was definitely ready to come out of them when I got home. So in conclusion, great for costume wear, great price but don't try running any marathons in them.

The boots are good. They are a bit bigger then I would like but that allowed me to put lifts in. Overall happy with the purchase.

I quite like the boots in general. The pictures are pretty much "you see what you get". It is a costume boot, so enough quality for 40-50 bucks. Its full poly, so you will sweat in them because the fabric doesn't breathe. Thats also ok because if you were to buy real (riding) boots, you would have to pay a couple hundred bucks. About the fitting; because there are many mixed reviews on that matter:After going back and forth between S and M, I bought the S size regarding the previous comments. As I feared, they are slightly small for me. Therefore not very comfortable, but I sill suspect that the M would have been too loose. So to help you to find your size, I ll share my size:I wear EU 44 size (10 in US size) in New Balance, Nike, Adidas etc. sneakers. These boots are exactly 1 size small for me. So they are 9.5US / 43EU. My feet is 28 cm long /11". Its about 2cm or 1" short on the soles.However, the calfs are a perfect fit! My calfs are 41cm/16". There is still just the perfect space to comfortably wear them with pants.One size bigger would have been loose and would not look as great.So in my case, they look perfect fit from outside, slightly uncomfortable in the inside. It's up to your choice, but for my measurements, I might have still bought the S if I were to buy them again. I hope that this helps anyone.

Bought these for my husband and they fit big -- in the calf and foot. Since these don't come in exact sizes, just a range, it makes them awkward if you're on the smaller end of the size range. Perhaps they'd fit better if you're the larger of the two sizes. They don't just feel too big, they LOOK too big on the foot as well.That said, the quality is decent and they look good when he doesn't have them on. And they're a good price. Would be a great boot if the size issue could be adjusted.

I got these boots as part of a Malcolm Reynolds costume, and they work great! Everyone complemented me on the accuracy of my costume. :)The only downside, which is NOT the fault of the seller, is that they were too large for my feet. While reading other reviews for this product, I noticed that several people said the boots were smallish, especially in the calf, so I ordered one size larger than I normally wear. However, the boots seemed to be exactly the size listed (so they didn't fit my feet very well). I contacted the seller, who responded immediately, and was willing to let me exchange them for a smaller pair. Given the time constraint I was under (the date of the party I was assembling the costume for), they were even willing to send me a new pair right away, before I returned the first pair; then, I would return whichever pair didn't fit, at no extra cost. All I'd need to pay would be rush shipping to get the second pair to arrive in time. I didn't want to pay for overnight shipping (which would have been necessary to arrive in time; I didn't plan ahead very well...), so I decided to keep the original pair. But the fact that they were willing to try this shows that they are dedicated to making their customers happy.I would definitely order from this seller again, and would recommend others to buy from them as well. The boots look great, arrived promptly, are good quality for the price, and service is excellent. Just make sure to order the correct size!

It took me four tries to find boots that fit and be approved for my X-Wing pilot costume. These boots are the ticket!However, these only come in men's sizes. I am a woman and wear size 9 boots (in women's sizing), so the foot part of the boots (in men's medium) are a little big on me, but they fit right in the calves, especially because I have a jumpsuit I need to tuck the legs into. The same boots in in the men's size small were too tight in the calves, even without getting around to tucking anything into them.I've seen some negative reviews for these boots, saying they are cheap quality. Not the case. These are good boots. Full disclosure:I haven't worn these black ones yet, but I also have the brown boots as well. I've had those since the beginning of 2014 and have worn them with my Jedi costume to several cons (same Funtasma company). Those suckers have held up SO WELL! If you get them, just be gentle with the zipper pulls and get a good pair of insoles, and you'll be all set.

Only used for Jedi Costume for man cave. I never tried them on. Just used for prop. Happy with item for what I'm using them for.

Not leather but well made and suitable for Cosplay. Fit is good but ignore the EU size references, in my opinion they are wrong. Go with the UK sizes. I take a 9.5/10 in shoes and the 9.5 (actually 9-10) fitted perfectly with enough room to put my trouser leg inside the boot. I have no idea how long they'll last but first impressions are good. Furthermore I received a good service from the vendor when I ordered the wrong size originally. I had to pay the return postage but they quickly dealt with the replacement.
