I have an enclosed cargo trailer that someone tried to break into and one of the latches was damaged and unusable. This was the perfect replacement for the damaged latch. Once I got the correct tools to remove the damaged latch, this one went right back in its place and the door was repaired. It is made from hardened steel and zinc plated to keep it from rusting. Perfect fit and works great!
