The first and most noticeable aspect of this Furman Voltage Protect Surge Strip is the design. This feels very heavy duty and sturdy with a lot of metal. It just feels like it is built like a tank and will last a long time. It is worlds away from a typical cheap plastic power strip / surge protector.The most important advantage of using this is when you plug all components in your setup into this same strip. It can not only protect your expensive electronics, but it can also lower the background noise in your signal. I really appreciate the design of this surge protector. The plugs are placed further apart from each other which is very convenient to fit multiple large power adapters on this strip. Large adapters are very common with power supplies and the types of devices that are used for music recording and creation.I have no complaints the build quality is great. The "clean power" and reduction of noise in your instrument signal path are huge wins. I would recommend giving this a try if you have pricey gear you would like to protect and also if you are serious about trying to improve your signal and sound for recording.

unlike most power protection devices that do not trip for hundreds of volts, these trip at a much lower voltage to really protect your equipment.

I'm up to 4 of these. They are solid, the cord is very long, and they have protected many items during one of our subdivision's many power bumps. Instead of buying those cheapie power strips, get one of these instead.

I liked the quality of the product. Nice metal case. Good feel to the switch. Good length on the cord. However, what I didn't like is the fact that it is only 540 joules. That's a little low for what I would expect from Furman. Something a little closer to 1,000 joules would be better. Anyway, overall seems to be an excellent product.

No puedo creer lo fregón que este aparato, dejó silencioso mi equipo (Amplificador de guitarra Hi Gain y pedalera con Fuzzes extremos) además mi amp al ser de bulbos y con circuitos con nada digital o integrados, captaba unas señales raras y hacÃa ruidos, después de conectarlo a este aparato, se fueron los ruidos, se siente que funciona a la perfección para equipo de audio y corrige muchos problemas gracias al filtro que usan de audio y que hace a este modelo el más caro (el del led verde) , no es regulador pero se que si llega a haber algunas sobrecarga, el aparato va a tomar la bala sin problemas, es FURMAN y pues es lo que pagas y esperas, un equipo de calidad, sin duda me comprarÃa otro si tuviera más equipo que lo necesite

Ya veremos cómo proteje los equipos a través del tiempo pero me gusta que es de uso rudo, como para pequeños escenarios. El cable es bien largo, eso también me gustó mucho.

Lo encontré en oferta y simplemente estupendo, el cable de 3 mts. Es de mucha utilidad, aunque es algo pesado, como siempre Furman no decepciona
