Item comes snugly packaged in foam within an OEM Goodman box. The connector mated perfectly with my Amana (Goodman) furnace connector and the ignitor is currently functioning flawlessly. The older igniters were thinner and had a central groove, the new one is slightly thicker with no groove. A little research reveals this is an update/upgrade in both design and material, intended to be more durable. I can certainly live with that!

This is identical to what was in my furnace. The one that was in there might have been replaced at some point. I lived in the house for 5 years, so the old one lasted at least that long. Replacing this part is very easy if you have a small 1/4" ratchet.
