Due to major illnesses, surgery, and scars I have not worn a bathing suit in 4 years. No swimming at all. I've missed a lot. I have tried on so many disappointing suits and literally gave up due to my uniqueness in build. These swim shorts not only covers my abdominal scars comfortably but provides support staying up; no rolling or riding. True to size and not too thick or thin material, easily moving in water. They give me a smooth look almost slimming not billowy or "old lady look" as my child says. They also give me the freedom of my own top choices. Love the zipper pockets and size. After 4 years I'm finally joining my child at the pool and feel like I fit in. Thank you.

Updated 4/30: I ordered these in two other colors. Beware, the white is see through! I can’t believe they sell them to customers.I am a curvy XL 14/16. First ordered up one size, sent those back then sized up 3 sizes to get them to fit without being skin tight! So why bother, you ask? Because honestly the material is as good of quality as something you would buy at Lulu*emon or L*nd’s E*d. Butterysoft and they are so comfy and flattering.

Size agrees perfectly with the chart size I ordered. I love the material and the beautiful sky blue color. I am ordering a 2nd pair.

Bought these for my visit to Oahu and so glad I did. The aqua color is beautiful. Craftsmanship outstanding. Did NOT ride up my rear nor did it need to be adjusted constantly. Check out the pockets that are deep enough to hold my phone and the pockets have ZIPPERS! I was able to tuck my phone into the pocket and zip it up. This enabled me to play in the sand with granddaughter and look for interesting stuff as we walked the shore. Car keys fit and cards too. I didn’t need a purse. Everything safe and secure. These shorts dry really fast. I’m 68 years old and the length was perfect. I bought a medium and am 5’2†and just under 130lbs. Hands down, I would buy again. Warmest Aloha.

The picture made me think these would be a lot shorter than they actually are. I am 5’4†and long waisted, but they look almost like an “just above the knee a-line skirt†on me. The legs were huge and not becoming on a 60 year old lady.The fit in the waist was fine and seemed to be in line with a size 10/12. They seem to be of quality fabric. I did like the zippered pockets.Not sure if I am going to keep them or return and try another brand with shorter, slimmer legs.

These are very good, I like the zip pocket so I can keep car keys secure (in a waterproof bag!) so they don't float away. Only drawback, which they lose one star for, is the inner briefs. The legs are very high cut. If the leg of the shorts did ride up, gape, or whatever, anyone looking would get an eyeful. I think if someone is buying board shorts they aren't wanting to show off that much of that part of their body. The inner briefs would be better with a boy leg.
