This mat is perfect for my exercise routines. The cork surface is ideal for traction and comfortable body contact. The "rubber" underlay is firm but slightly resilient. The materials have minimal to no toxicity. It had a mild odor on arrival that quickly dissipated in a day. I have never had such an excellent exercise mat in 50 years of mat exercise. I do not use this as a yoga mat. I do a combination of resistance exercises with dumbbells, Pilates exercises, and Western style calisthenics. For these, I find the firm resilience of this mat to be ideal.Only caution I would have for people considering this mat is that it does not seem to readily lie entirely flat. I have not reverse-rolled it to try to get it to lie flat, preferring to weigh it down at the corners when I use it, so I don't know how effective that would be in producing a completely flat-lying mat.

I’m such a sweaty person and this mat stops me from slipping around when doing high intensity yoga. I love it. Also beautiful color and the texture is pleasant. Best Mat I’ve ever owned.

Very, very low odor - I was concerned as my husband is chemically sensitive and any odors will give him migraines. He hasn't complained. We don't use this for yoga, so can't speak to that or for when a chemically sensitive person puts their nose right up to the mat. I have sniffed it and it doesn't seem to have an odor (my husband won't sniff things any more because it gives him too many migraines). I bought this to use under a piece of exercise equipment, it easily cuts in half with decent kitchen scissors and doesn't slip around on top of a vinyl plank flooring in my basement.

I like the quality of the mat and that it has a natural cork top which helps with my sensitive skin. I only gave it 4 starts because after a month of use it hasn't fully flattened out on the ends. I tried putting heavy books and barbell weights on it but still still has a slight curl from when it was shipped to me all rolled up. The curled ends are just a minor annoyance, though, and doesn't affect its use. I would buy one again.

I had a few yoga mats in the past including bamboo one which I wasn’t happy with it. I was surprised with the light weight and the best thing is definitely slip free. The price is great compared to other cork mats. It has a smell but leave it outside and the smell will fade away in a few days. Very happy with my purchse. Thank you!

I bought this yoga mat because I wanted a more natural material while doing yoga and pilates.It is soft and still grippy enough for these exercises. It feels different than a traditional yoga mat, but you get used to it quickly.My husband loved mine so much that I ordered another one for him.I would definitely recommend this mat.

This is a very nice mat. It is about 1.75 times thicker than a normal mat, and the difference is noticeable. It is much more comfortable on the hard floor.

Único tapeteue no se resbalan las manos, me encanta, tiene un olor agradable a corcho después de un par de meses, en cuanto al grosor no se me lastiman los tobillos y rodillas.Al desenrollarlo toma tiempo para que se extienda bien el extremo del tapete cosa que a mi no me molesta, pero si eres muy exigente con esto si serÃa tema.A mi en lo particular me encanta y lo voy a volver a comprar cuando se necesite cambiar

I love this mat! At first I was skeptical because when I unrolled it, it wouldn’t lay flat and you can’t roll it with the cork side on the inside...so the ends curl down when laid out. However, after a couple of uses, when I unroll it, it now lays flat. And it is the best mat I’ve gotten so far! And I’ve tried quite a few.It is amazingly light - I never knew a mat could be so light!And it is the most grippy mat I’ve ever had. Not a sticky grippy, but a really comfortable grippy. So no slipping happening at all! And the hotter I get, the more grip there is. It’s awesome. And it has no smell at all! So in child’s pose, I was used to smelling a light rubber smell with my previous mats. But with this one - no smell at all. And the thickness is just right - I have great balance on this mat and it doesn’t hurt my knees. And as a bonus, it is so very pretty!So all in all, it is a great purchase! Amazing quality for the price! I’ve used it 6 days a week since I got it and I don’t regret it one bit!Great yoga mat!!

It smells better compared to the other rubber mats and I love the design so much! Only thing is that if you sweat a lot on it the black paint comes off and makes mark on your cloth and skin, but I still use it as home practice one.

I am really enjoying my yoga lessons now as I don’t need to worry about slipping! Hope the mat holds up well, but I am happy so far.
