After reflecting our porch deck we decided to invest in this Dropbox. We haven't had anything stolen YET!!! But, don't count our chicken's before they're hatched.Our postal carrier informed us that there were over 500 small packages (under a 3 cube box) during the Christmas season this year.My question is it cost the businesses as well with these stolen packages, why not come up with some type of incentive for those like ourselves who make the investment to keep things we purchase safe. Maybe a gift card for like 1%+ for every dollar saved from porch theives. Just a suggestion.We've extended to our neighbors to use it when they aren't home.

This parcel drop box was needed at my home as my dogs would terrorize packages thrown over our front gate. Works well for small to medium packages. Easy to assemble, although it would not close correctly at first. The issue was that one of the spring pins did not want fully extend through the left side hole. I had to drill the hole out a bit wider. Worked great after. I messaged VORVIL about the issue and they responded fairly quickly. The box as a whole does it's job. I installed by my front gate. I had to build a platform to raise it higher so that the mail carriers could have easy access over the gate. There was a slight water leak and pooling after a big rain event. You know the kind of rain that comes down in all directions due to wind. No biggie, hasn't leaked since. Make sure to get your own instructions sign, "drop parcel here" etc. The sticker it comes with is junk. Overall, it was worth the buy to have some peace of mind.

I haven’t had any packages stolen since installing this, mounting it into the cement. I considered many solutions- this box is big enough for the majority of packages, larger packages are more difficult to steal anyway, and it uses the same mechanism as many post office mail drops. It does not require the delivery person to have a code, a key, a dongle, or to figure it out. Your regular post man/woman who frequents your house might entertain these other high tech geeky solutions, but most others- if it takes a person with an 80 IQ more than 3 seconds to figure it out, they will just drop the packages in plain sight and move on.

Parcel Box, Package Drop Box, Extra Large Mailbox - Twice I have ordered Parcel Box, Package Drop Box, Extra Large Mailbox and twice the mailbox has come broken. I would NOT order this particular mail package drop box.

I like that it locks,I DO NOT LIKE the Size as many packages don’t fit inside when delivered, so they are just placed in clear view on the outside on my steps. No even in between storm door and entry door!

Delivery people don’t know how to deliver packages or put them in the box. I put on sign that says putPackages in but they have no clue. Not worth the money in my opinion. The part that you put the packages in is very flimsy. It fell apart the first time we put something in it.

When they say the case is 30" high that's not counting a big swinging plate that comes up and blocks access from the top when you open the lid.I'd say the usable height is probably around 20" and we have 24-in tall boxes we ship and receive with our product.There was no description on the website that gave the maximum size box you could put in there.While Other manufacturers do have that info!Live and Learn

After several attempts to purchase and several rejected orders I finally received my post box only to find the key didn’t work with lock. I was totally disappointed with trouble I went through .

I really like the item however very disappointing that you have to space off of the wall to allow lid to open there is nothing provided for this therefore fixings not long enough either.

We spent over £200 on this to find the screws on the flap assembly loose, one has fallen out the other loose. Why were nylok nuts not used on these screws which act as a hinge pin every time the lid is opened ? I will repair this myself with nylok nuts as I don't want to go through all the rigmarole of returning this box just to receive a similar faulty unit.Having carried out repars to the flap mechanism I have now installed the box to find it is totally unsuitable for outdoor use as claimed in the product description, a puddle forms inside after rain, water also collects around the door frame and falls onto any contents when the door is opened. I have photographs available.
