My son wants me to build him a game table so plan to do an octagon and put in these cup holders at each seat spot. They have a nice brass finish to them and are deep enough for holding cups but not too deep that the cups sink way down. These are perfect for a stationary setting but I wouldn't use them on a boat table as they are shallow enough that I could see bottles or glasses flying out as you go over waves.

These look spectacular in the poker table. Switched out the originals to these. Very happy with this purchase.
