These Gamma lids create an airtight seal and are easy to open with the cross pattern in the lid. I use them on several 5 gallon buckets which are different brands and it fits on all of them. They are tough to get on the bucket initially but once on, they are not coming off! I have used them for transporting water in buckets to keep the water from sloshing out to a homemade Bokashi bucket lid. Super handy product!

I bought these to go on buckets to store animal food, and they work great. They are a little tricky to get on, but once they are on they are fantastic.

I am such a nerd for Gamma lids. I have the pet food containers, and almost all of the (many many) 5 gallon buckets I own have a Gamma lid on them.They provide an almost 100% water tight seal (I did test this by accident- a bucket of soapy water in my car tipped over and it did leak just a little). They make the buckets incredibly easy to open. Most importantly- my dog can't get into them.Before I got these lids I had problems with my dog breaking into the bucket of cat litter to eat it. It would clump in her mouth, her drool would create clumps in the litter...it was a mess. I used to keep the lid on the bucket using two clip style clamps and two bungee cords. Enter Gamma lid. No more clamps, no more scooping cat litter out of my dog's mouth, no more time wasted struggling to lock the bucket with clamps.I love these things.

work great and easy to use.TIP: put a very light coat of baby oil [VERY LIGHT] around the threads to aid in screwing the lids on/off. also be aware of extreme elevation changes if you use for camping etc. the lids sometimes can be a bugger to open when vacumed shut. lol

These are the second set of Gamma lids I’ve purchased. I had to return the first as they wouldn’t stay on the bucket. These were easy to pop on and easier to tighten and take off. Super happy with these. The only issue is the sticker they put on the bottom of each lid. It was difficult to get the residue off. I’ll purchase these again.

So far, have purchased and used several colours. Works perfect on most 22 litre food grade buckets. Also have used on taller re-purposed wine (must) buckets. Kudos to Gamma and also made in the Constitutional Republic of the U.S.A.
