Out of all the brands our son owns of rubik cubes, GAN continues to be the brand he prefers over all others. I don't (cant) solve them myself but when I play around with the different brands he owns I actually do feel and see a vast quality difference in GAN vs his other branded cubes. And I know nothing about rubik cubes!

The GAN 562 is without a doubt the best 5x5 puzzle out now. If you have the money and/or really like solving larger cubes it is worth it. However if you just want a 5x5 or don't particularly care about squeezing every millisecond off of your time, there are cheaper options such as the MGC that I get very comparable times on. I do prefer the look and feel of this puzzle though

There is an incredible difference in the movement of these cubes in comparison with the cheaper and more popular models.

Finally, a magnetic 5x5 that replaced my regular one. The tactile feeling of the surface is superb, I wish their 3x3 felt the same way.The turning actions got a lot more precise, now it's a lot more pleasant handling it, and way more accurate. Highly recommended.

My son is a speed cuber this one is the best 5x 5 he had had that’s last. It hasn’t popped or broke it’s the best one so far

The omnidirectional core positioning and double-layer structure keep everything tight and well-fitted, avoiding any misalignment or popping. While it's definitely on the expensive side, the build quality and advanced features fully justify the price. This is by far the best 5x5 speed cube I’ve ever had my hands on!
