Nice flags are made more of a cloth than plastic sheet and are sewn together and sewn on a loop around the pole. They should stay together much longer than the plastic ones simply glued to a stick. Good flags of much better quality than most.

The product that arrived is a very cheap product utilizing a 1/4" dowel that extends through the flag and is topped with a plastic ball (one of them crushed). The workmanship on the flag itself is unremarkable. The flags in the photos do appear to have thicker dowels with a tie-off at the bottom. I would not order these flags. If you are looking for proper semaphore flags, they are 18x18 inches, 50% larger than these. If you are looking for simple signal flags, I still would not buy these. I would be happier with something I put together myself, especially with those 1/4" dowels.
