I bought these fidgets to use it as birthday goodies for my 8 year old son's birthday party. I would recommend this product as it was so much fun for kids. They come in nice colors and handy for kids to play with. The movement is smooth and helps kids to enjoy. It has little, I don't say very sharp, but pointy edges but I think it is ok for 8 year old kids to handle. I even used one for my 5 years old who likes it equally as it allows him to make different shapes which enhance their creativity. It is a good buy and I would decently recommend it.

This is a FUN game. It provided hours of fun for children and adults during a family get-together, and was easy to manipulate for children over 5 (younger ones tended to bend the toy, which led to the thread inside tearing and the pieces being irreversibly detached, rendering the toy to the garbage). That brings me to the main critic - the product photo depicts the pieces clicked together with little knobs. In reality, the pieces are THREADED together like a necklace, with some internal tension, which allows manipulation of the pieces, but also makes these little snakes very prone to tearing/breaking. More importantly, there is absolutely no way to put this back together again. So once torn, it's gone.With 24 pieces in the box, this allowed for some redundancy, but it did make for some frustration, and a sense of one-time-use toy.On the whole, it is still a fun pocket-fidget to have, and it is educational and effective as a time-passer. That said, I would have appreciated a more accurate depiction of how this is put together. As it is, treat this as a party favor that may last 2 minutes or a few hours. ANY bending (versus twisting) will break the thread and end the life of the toy.

Got these for my 10 year old’s birthday party. They were a huge hit! They are fun to play with and the color choices were nice. My only complaint is that two days after my kids started playing with them, a tiny square would occasionally fall off. We could snap them back on, but you definitely wouldn’t want kids to play with these that might put pieces in their mouth. But for the price, I’m happy!

My Kindergarten students loved these as a graduation gift! I wanted something for them to be able to fidget with that would be fun, not create a mess, and keep them off tablets/phones. This fits the bill nicely. I have been happy to see one of my students fidgeting with his/her toy while at a restaurant.

I considered returning these fidget snakes, but my students requested that these go in my prize box. We’ll see how long they last though and how satisfied they are receiving them. They are not well made at all. They are difficult to twist and feel like they are going to snap off while you’re twisting them. The price was the best I could find on Amazon - I paid $13.98 for 24 snakes. I just wish the snakes didn’t feel so fragile.

I got a big pack of these to share at parties so people have stuff to fidget with while we hang out, and everyone loved them. They snap into shapes in a satisfying way and the colors are ordered in a repeating pattern which is nice.

Bought these for my son’s 2nd grade class. Teacher asked us to sent things to keep their hands busy and these were a winner. The little squares pop off with use but they still work without them. And they pop back on easy. I found myself playing with them! Also I keep them in my purse and can hand one to my son when he is fidgety at restaurants
