It took a while for me to assemble this with the help of a friend. It feels sturdy and looks good enough. The assembly instructions were very clear and they threw in a few extra screws and even a drawer pull (which I ended up using). It’s only day 1 but I’m very satisfied with this dresser

The babyGap Legacy 6-Drawer Dresser has solid quality and a durable build. Assembly takes some effort, but it’s built to last.

We are happily surprised how sturdy this dresser is. The material is really great and solid, the color is exactly as expected and the overall structure is very bold. The drawers offers plenty of space and I love how they divided in two different sections and sizes. It’s easy to assemble following the instructions. Great dresser with the expected GAP/Delta Children high quality!

I love the look and size of this dresser for our baby’s nursery. It is heavy and not cheaply made-however the drawers don’t quite line up perfectly and the top large drawer hits the next drawer down if both are open at the same time. When all the drawers are closed it’s hardly noticeable so it’s not worth taking it a part and exchanging. I do agree with another review that it had a terrible smell which was disappointing since it is for our baby’s nursery. We kept the windows open and constantly ran our ceiling fan with all the drawers open to try and let it air out before filling it. I think it did help after about a week or two and it’s too soon to say if anything inside the dresser is taking on the smell. Other than the smell I would definitely purchase again because it looks beautiful.

I waited a week to post this in the hopes that the smell would get better. We have had it set up and aired out for a full 7 days, windows open every day with the fan on all day long, and the room is still unbearable to do anything in. My husband was very lightheaded just from setting it up. This is very disturbing as it is a piece of furniture for a new baby and we purchased a greenguard gold certified piece of furniture for a reason (and it wasn’t exactly cheap), yet I’ve never bought a piece of furniture that has smelled so awful, including anything I own that is NOT greenguard gold certified. Not impressed with this at all and I’m very concerned about what kind of chemicals are being emitted from this dresser. I also have the matching crib directly purchased from Delta and it did not give off this scent whatsoever. It looks nice, sure, but does that really matter if you are trying to provide a safe and healthy atmosphere for an brand new baby? Not so much.

This dresser looks great in my nursery, it’s sturdy and a great size too! The assembly was easy, a little time consuming but nothing crazy. I was able to get it done on my own being 8.5 months pregnant. The hardest part of the assembly was the drawers at the very end- and this was only because I struggled to get the drawer track out at first. Once I figured that out, it was super easy!

We like the finish on this item, and it’s relatively easy to assemble. For the price, it’s a nice piece. The reason for my rating is that once we put the whole dresser together and began to assemble the 3 smaller drawers we realized that the factory-built in tracks were misaligned by at least an inch! They also left metal tubes attached to inside tracks ( meant to measure the distance at the manufacturer.) We went back over all instructions to make sure it wasn’t our error - it wasn’t.Since the dresser was pretty much completely assembled, we had to MacGyver the drawers and purposefully place one track higher, one track lower on each drawer to fit the misaligned pre-installed dresser tracks. We also had to remove the forgotten tubing after one drawer got stuck. What should have been a couple of hours project, took 6. It’s a nice wide dresser but if you aren’t at least semi handy, and run into this, you would be stuck with an unusable dresser.
