It features a reflective strip that increases visibility and a built-in drip tray that prevents water and snow from falling on the floor. Black mat adds a layer of protection against dirt and stains. Follow these steps to ensure that the vehicle is in the desired position; Position the tire on the floor or the padding between the two bumps. Using the mat, mark the tire's position so that it will be in the center between the bumps. Make sure that the area is free of oil. A clean surface will help prevent the mat from moving. Always drive slowly on and off the mat to prevent movement.

These units come with sticky tape to hold them in place, which worked fine on my finished floor, but the problem is that I keep missing the stops since they are a bit too narrow. My wife already ripped her set up off the garage as she didn't like trying to hit them properly. They will move a bit if not taped to the floor. Good concept, but just too narrow.

The pads were smaller than I anticipated and does not leave much room for error. While possible to feel the first bump, it is also easy enough to roll right through the stop. The hard plastic is not very grippy and needs to be secured to to the floor.

Once installed on the garage floor and a few measurements, our garage space around the vehicle is at a maximum ever time.

Bought these to help me position my pickup in the garage, so I know when I’m in far enough to close the door. They do work for that purpose. The back stops are high enough that the truck won’t go over them without hitting the gas. And the first bumps tell me I’m now on the mat. So all good there. It’s not a negative per se, but they do need to be anchored to the floor with screws (there are 4 pre-drilled holes in each mat). When I used them without screws, the mats move pretty easily (which defeats the purpose of using them as stops). I was hoping I wouldn’t need to drill into the concrete floor, but the mats are plastic so they won’t grip even with a front wheel on it. If the back wheel is moving, the mats will move as soon as you hit the back stop. I tried just 2 screws in each mat, but I could see the 2 holes widening from the force of the wheel hitting the back stop. So I went to 4 screws on each (1 in each corner in the pre-drilled holes) and so far so good. We’ll see with time if all 4 holes stay intact. I ease onto the mat, but once I’m over the first bump, I’m basically an inch or 2 away from the backstop, so it’s impossible to avoid touching the backstop with the force of the truck. Hopefully, the holes will hold up to that over time.UPDATE: I dropped this to one star because as I was afraid, the force of the truck touching the rear back-stops has already begun to pull the mat away from the screws I used to anchor it to the garage floor. The pre-drilled holes are basically tearing around the screws. And I've pulled onto the mats no more than 5 times since my initial review, so this happened quickly. If the mats won't stay planted, then there's no point in my having them. Hence the 1 star....

Works perfectly in my small garage so I park where I want the car to stop.
