This is a solid rack , easy to install. I added a 2X6 backing board rather than using the dry wall anchors that came with it. Making it mounted with over kill.They should sell extra hooks and backing attachment brackets. 1 or 2 hooks would make it a lot more usable.

If you are like me and you seem to accumulate tools and other items at an alarming rate, you probably have the need to organize and continue expanding your places to put things.The design of the unit is simple but effective. At first I was a little annoyed that the mount comes in four pieces. Then I realized that means that they don't all have to be mounted in the same place and I have more options. Each piece is 16" wide which means that if your walls were framed correctly, they will perfectly span across two studs. Which is good because the plastic zip anchors that come with the unit are terrible. So either get different anchors, or make sure you mount to the studs. Either way, installation is simple. Just level, mark, drill, install. The hooks snap onto the mount easily and can be just as easily removed and moved where needed. Having the freedom to move the hooks where you want instead of even spacing is nice because you can widen or narrow them depending on the configuration of what is hanging on them.As far as value, yes there are cheaper options out there. However, the quality of the hooks that come with the unit is above average and I have no problem paying the few extra bucks for better quality than trying to save money and ending up with something that doesn't feel sturdy.All in all, I'm happy with the quality, the look, and the ease of installation.

I wish I could give four and a half stars as this is not quite a perfect product. It is close, though. This replaces a wall rack I have had in may garage for many years that never quite had the capacity for all of my garden tools. And, I am extremely pleased with the finished product: the hooks are long and sturdy, assembly was relatively straightforward and mounting hardware was included. As with many wall storage solutions, my biggest gripe (and really my only one) is that the mounting holes are not on 16 inch centers. For US customers who want to mount to a wood framed wall, the wall stud standard is 16 inch spacing. I found that I had to first mount the rack pieces to a piece of 1x8 wood, and needed additional (shorter) screws to make the preassembly. I then mounted the board to the wall and everything worked out just fine. But factor in the additional cost of the board and screws when budgeting for this rack if you plan to mount to a wood framed wall. The kit does come with drywall anchors, but I do not trust them to hold any substantial weight and I think mounting directly to studs is the superior attachment strategy. Overall, I am very pleased with how this wall rack performs, I have plenty of tool hanging space and plenty of options for hook placement.

I have been on the lookout for the right solution to help clean up all the piled-in-a-corner tools that just seem to take up space so when I saw this pop up for review I knew I had to take a look. I'm very happy I did so as seeing things hung or clipped neatly into rows has helped reduce the clutter and messy appearance of my garage. It is rated for far more than I could ever dream of hanging on it but it is nice to know that it isn't going to bend and break on me if I do need to put something on there.
