I bought a harbor freight set. Both broke on the first day of use. This one has held up for a rocky 4 foot deep narrow hole that I couldn't really do with a full sized shovel. It might not last forever, but I was quite pleased with today's performance. It's also shaped comfortably.

I have a lot of garden trowels. This one is sturdy enough. It's not the thinnest metal one I have, nor is it the thickest. It'll probably last a few seasons before it bends or breaks. The handle is comfortable.

I garden a lot, and my last hand shovel bent digging a small trench in some clay for drainage around my raised bed garden. I got this to replace that one, and I have been very happy with it so far. The handle is very comfortable, and I love that it has a reddish-orange accent color on the handle, making it easier to find when I set it down and forget where. The metal part has a good edge and is a very sturdy material. I think I would really have to try to bend this one. And at $6.99 (at the time of order), you can't go wrong on the value. This shovel would easily be double that price at a store. I am very glad I ordered this and look forward to many seasons using it.

I garden at least 5 days per week and I use this trowel a lot. It’s very durable and strong. It’s also hard to lose since because of the bright orange handle.

Overall, the garden trowel has a very nice polished aluminum finish. It is made using a sturdy cast aluminum construction which makes it very lightweight and durable. The 2-tone rubberized handle looks and feels fine and there is a hole for hanging it for storage. The handle does look black and red rather than the black and orange shown in the listing.I would rate this higher if the pricing was slightly better. There is currently a lot of very similar garden trowels in the $10-$15 price range.

After using this trowel for a week, as an avid gardener, I can confidently say that it's a great tool. The whole thing is sturdy from the handle to the trowel head. The handle is a good size and easy to grasp. The width is also suitably useful - at this price point, many trowels tend to be too narrow and rather ineffective, but this one is apt for the job.At $15, this is comparable to many other similar-looking trowels available on Amazon, but at the very least I've tested this product out and found it to be solid.
