Folds very small and is quite sturdy. A great addition to my camping box inside my pop up trailer. Space is at a premium in there, and this shovel fits the bill! Don’t expect a spade sized shovel, but it’s definitely bigger and more useful than a trowel. I brought it to the beach to dig holes for the stakes for a sun shelter, and it easily fit into a beach bag and didn’t snag on or break anything in the bag.

I was not satisfied with this at all. It's alot smaller than It looked but it would be ok to use in a very small flower garden but that's about all. It does fold up and very light

I bought to replace my military issued shovel, but this is better for what I use it for and that is the level areas at festivals and events I go to. Fits easily in my tote bag.
