I bought these because I'm old and have very thin skin on my forearms. So far, they've spared me from a skin tear, and are hiding a particularly ugly tear I got before I got the sleeves. These sleeves are a bit garish, but they look a lot better than the medical version that are intended for this purpose. They're also a lot more breathable. They look more like an odd fashion choice than some sort of bandage or orthopedic device, which I appreciate.The only complaint i have about these is, if you're a big girl like I am, the top of the sleeve will get really tight. I can get them up over my elbow without cutting off the circulation, but that's it. There's a lot of baggy fabric down on the forearm as a result. So, if you've got a Queen's Wave, you won't be covering your biceps with these. Since I only care about the forearms, I'm fine with them, ymmv.

These gardening sleeves are a total game-changer for outdoor work! I can not wait to wear them this year. They will provide excellent sun protection while keeping my arms cool and comfortable, even on hot days. The fabric is lightweight and breathable, making them much more convenient than constantly reapplying sunscreen.I love that they have a thumb hole to keep them in place, and they fit snugly without being too tight. The elastic band at the top ensures they don’t slip down, and I can easily wear gloves over them while working in the garden. They also offer great protection against scratches from thorny plants, which is a huge plus.The design is stylish, and I appreciate how they don’t look like medical sleeves but more like a functional fashion choice. They're also easy to clean and reusable, which makes them a much better investment than constantly using sunscreen.If you spend time gardening, hiking, or doing any outdoor activities, these sleeves are a must-have.

I loved this instantly due to the design. I wear 'sleeves' anytime I can as I am very protective over my skin 98% of the time. I ride a bike weekly almost year round so covering my skin as I get older is so important, especially since the sun is now stronger than ever with the increasing heat. These have a nice cool feel to them from the fabric but the fabric is really thin and I'm not sure it will last as long as I would like it to. I have some others I wear in the car from the sun beating down from my windows and maybe this pretty pair will be the driving sleeves so as not to get too beat up in the elements. They're inexpensive enough that I do recommend them.

Easier than suntan lotion, less messy, and reusable.If you love to garden but don't love the way the sun ages your skin, these are the perfect solution. I am naturally quite fair, but overtime can get a deep tan. Unfortunately the sum is starting to take a toll on my skin. I already wear hats in the garden and sometimes sunshirts, but these are a lot cheaper than sunshirts and go with whatever t-shirts you already have. The material is thin, but breathable. It will help immensely to protect your arms and the backs of your hands from the sun. They come with thumbholes to keep them in place and the upper arm part has a thin rubber band that keeps it up.These would make a very thoughtful gift for any gardener. I have a couple of pairs of these and intend to get more. Good quality and a good price.

Very happy with these sleeves. Perfect fit. Will provide sun protection and abrasion prevention when doing yard work. Nice thumb hole that will keep them in place when I add a pair of garden gloves. TBD what my neighbors think about the bold fashion statement they make.
