I have used GB wire nuts for many (almost 30) years. When installed properly they do a great job. I have never seen one fail. In an electrical circuit, failure can be devastating to both people and property. I have also used Ideal products with similar results.

These are petty decent, not as good as Ideal but better than some of the wire nuts that are included when you buy lighting fixtures. These are, in my opinion are best when used to affix 14 ga. building wire to the stranded 16 to 20 ga. primary wire that is used in the typical lighting fixture.
