Installed easily in our 6.0 Powerstroke. Has a screen for catching debris unlike the original had. Resolved erratic vgt/surging issues. Great price for this solenoid compared to dealer.

Dont do what i did .. ordered a cheap 1/3 of the price aftermarket that failed immediately. Then bought the right part, genuine Garrett... Ford wants $475 for this Garrett part FYI. Also you will notice that Garrett updated the solenoid with the addition of a stainless screen to prevent debris from entering...the aftermarket was like the old original without... No more aftermarket anything for my 6.0... not worth the hastle! ... Installation... Soak the solenoid in a jar of motor oil for 1 min, apply a light coat of nickel anti sieze on the 8mm bolt, install with the new bracket and torque the bolt to 18 ft lb... You need a 8mm 12 point scoket

Truck had no power, and Turbo wasnt spooling. Replaced the VGT Solenoid and Power is back! East install and took minutes to install. Highly recommend!
