Wow! I'm impressed. I have a Honda Civic 2003 LX and recently the check engine light came on, so I ran my OBD car system scanner on it and it was giving me an error code P1456 "(Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Control System Leakage (Fuel Tank System) EVAP". and after doing some research that usually entails you have a faulty or damaged gas cap that is going out. So I purchased this after reading the glowing reviews and I can confirm it worked. Once I put this new gas cap on, the check engine light didn't disappear right away but after driving 30 to 50 miles which that is when the cars system does another system diagnostics check, the check engine light turned off. And after this my OBD scanner said there were no error codes and no issues found. I'm very satisfied with this gas cap, and impressed with the build quality and I'm especially happy that it fixed my check engine light issue. I recommend it.

Seals the filler neck and no evap code being thrown so I am a happy camper. I recommend this for this car in place of the ridiculously expensive dealership part, does the same thing for a fraction of the price.

I bought this when my check engine light popped on, since one of the first things to do is check the gas cap to see if that was the reason. I found this one, since it looked exactly like the OEM cap I have. As soon as I received it, it was exactly the same, except it doesn't have the little hook o-ring to hang on the gas tank door. Unfortunately, the gas cap had nothing to do with the check engine light, but after I took my car in to get repaired due to a broken fuel pump, the new gas cap didn't cause any emission leaks, so it's safe to report that it worked just as the original part.

It’s very comparable to oem. The seal on these are pretty tight, sometimes it is hard to get it to open. Visually, it’s quite big for a gas cap but did it job well. Car is not throwing a cel after several months.

Needed new gas cap & decided to get one for the Honda CRV 2003 model. Not disappointed with purchase. Came quick & fits great. No more check engine light! Recomment both the gas cap & seller.

I had an issue with gas smell every cold start and lots of hissing when filling up gas. Replaced the gas cap with this and both are gone. Very cheap for the quality!

Got a used CRV and the check engine light was tripping presumably from an aged oring on the gas cap and so far this works just as well if not better than the original
