I was trying to find replacement briquettes for our Lynx grill and the products that come direct from the company are exorbitantly expensive. Ridiculously so. The GasSaf briquettes fit perfectly into the briquette tray. My biggest peeve is that the set came with only 50 briquettes. I ordered one box, and I was short about a ten. So, I had buy another box of these things to fill the grill adequately. Now, that's kind of a rip off. Though, probably cheaper than buying them from Lynx or BBQ supply store that sold Lynx (those were hugely expensive). Well, I guess I have extra in case some of them crack or get too dirty. So far, the briquettes distribute heat well. None of them have broken. So far so good. Again, if you are thinking of replacing an entire set, find out how many you really need.

The briquettes pictured by the seller GasSaf show the large hollowed out back side of the briquette which is like the original Lynx product. The briquettes shipped (see picture) have a much smaller indentation and come to a smaller point on top. The Lynx brand briquettes are rather expensive and in my experience start degrading quickly. My guess is the GasSaf briquettes will last longer than the thinner Lynx branded briquettes but may not have the same thermal control since these briquettes have more mass. A couple other photos showing these briquettes (clean white) vs. the original Lynx ones (discolored).
