These switches work as expected. Switches slot into place and actuation is smooth linear as described. A bit pricey for just 10 switches. Should make decent enough swaps or replacements otherwise.

I use Gateron red switches in one of my mechanical keyboards. They're great switches, good feel, linear and relatively quiet. I ordered these to have some spares, but I failed to notice these are low-profile switches. So make sure these are the right switches for your keyboard. Not the fault of the product, so still 5 stars.

QUICK LOOK: If you're a keyboard fanatic like I am you're always on the lookout for new switches or keycaps, etc. These low profile switches from Gateron do a good job as a replacement for your LOW-PROFILE mechanical custom mechanical keyboard. Their action is smooth and satisfying and the pre-lubing makes the action even smoother with a satisfying finish at the end of the stroke. There's only a couple items that hold this set from being a 5 star set - and these little items may not matter to you.1. There's only 10 keys in this pack - so it's a bit on the pricey side. It's gonna cost a pretty penny to swap out a full keyboard or even a smaller 65% keyboard.2. The packaging is just a baggy. This may seem like a nitpick, but having some kind of protection during travel of these switches is more than ideal...especially when you're paying about $1.00 per switch.THE GOOD STUFF:- Great action and feel- Solid replacement switches for low-prorfile 3 pin keyboards (make sure your pinout works with these!)THE NOT SO GOOD STUFF:- Pricey- Packaging is lacking

These switches are really nice and make little to no sound but, they were too low and didn't work with my keyboard. I tried using another keyboard but the same result. I'm sure there's keyboard that can work well with these but it's a no from me.

These are nice low profile switches. There are some things to watch out for though. These are labeled as 3 pin, to most people that means 3 electrical contacts, but after a few minutes researching Gateron's products, it seems they typically include the central alignment pin in that number, so make sure to verify it fits your needs. Unfortunately, these did not fit the keyboard I wanted them for as I expected, but I was able to still install them on a 10-key diy-kit I have, and they work great. You should also be aware these are the V1.0 switches (KS-27), not the V2.0 switches (KS-33), there are some subtle differences.

The switches are smooth and the springs are a good weight, but it was shipped in just a plastic bag so many of the pins ended up bent in shipping.

They work well and feel fine. I'm just not into low profile keys as I found out. They're responsive though which is great for a key to be.

So I had planned to use these in my hot swappable leverless controller I just got. It's a Sky 2040plus model, ya well, they do not share the low profile pin configuration. That was my bad, but unfortunately I have yet to try them out in a device. They feel smooth and light to the touch and they feel lubed. They came loose in a bag with a small metal switch puller but none of the pins looked bent. All the switches looked intact and good quality. Now I just have to find a good use for them.
