This heater hose works perfectly on an '08 Legacy, just cut one of the legs back 1/4" to match it up to the original. Big deal.

Fit my 2003 Subaru Legacy 2.5L. This one fits on the water pump. Pretty easy to get to, especially if you are changing the water pump. Once you loosen the clamps, then rotate the hose back and forth to break the seal. Then it pops right off.

Replaces the OEM hose and fits well after some slight trimming. The molding is a good match to OEM but the ends were a bit too long. Nothing that some careful razor knife work can't fix.

This is a good alternative to the much-more-costly OE part. It fit my 08 Forester 2.5 properly.

I bought the upper and lower hoses with new OEM house clamps, new water pump, seals, OEM fluids, all surfaces were clean, but the sucker leaked after a few miles, turns out you have to tighten the hose so tight, that one may risk collapsing the composite radiator pipe, very noticeable compression marks are on the hose from the hose clamps, still leaked, in cold and warm days.The Hose is cheaply made, it expands too much and unable to keep seal.The only thing it did not do is POP, but I am still waiting to see if it does, thank goodness I did order the water pump from Gates.
