I was looking for a silicone based hose to use in my car's restoration, but couldn't find any that would work, so this is a good quality hose that will suffice. Entirely adequate for what I need, and it will probably last 20+ years.

Gone are the days I try in vain to keep old, dry, cracked lines in one piece as I remove them in hopes of reusing them. Replace them and don't ever worry that the old hose you think you saved is actually causing you issues that you spend countless dollars and hours tracking down.Hose seems to be of a good quality, and it works.

I bought this to replace the 50 year old vacuum hoses under the dash of my 1970 Charger 500 for the heater-A/C! To buy the kit from an automotive restoration supplier the kit was well over $100 this cost me less than $25!

I'm glad other reviewers listed the ID and OD of the tubing because I couldn't find a good thin walled vacuum tubing locally. Everybody had the ID I needed but in a stiff fuel line type hose. Some silicone vacuum hoses are offered in short lengths and funky colors but I just needed the basics.I bought 3 different sizes of this tubing. I'm just a backyard mechanic but I already have cut pieces off of all 3 rolls for various car repairs. Made in the USA, how can you beat it.

I'm writing this review so others can see exactly what the size of this vacuum hose really is as Amazon doesn't list it. The inside diameter is 7/64" while the outside is about 1/4". I ordered this based on what other's said in the Q&A section and found it to be way too small for my small block Chevy. Back to the drawing board. I can't fault the product and have ordered other hoses from Gates and found them to be excellent. This is made in the USA too.
